We are seeking an experienced wide format print operator who has the necessary skills and experience to work in our fast-paced wide format production department.
The ideal candidate will be creative team player, have a positive attitude, and be committed to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing department job tickets, managing workflow to ensure all orders are completed on time, and consistently meeting customers’ expectations while maximizing machine efficiency.
- Producing rigid and roll signs and banners, custom finishing including lamination, mounting, and trimming.
- Properly using and maintaining all department tools and equipment, managing machine logs and coordinating maintenance and repair calls with vendors.
- Preparing large format signs, banners, and display graphics for shipping and delivery; creating custom packaging when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience with large format imaging – roll and rigid printing and precision finishing.
- Experience printing on a large variety of substrates.
- Finisher, capable of laminating, mounting, and trimming to exact specifications.
- High level of experience with Onyx Software, experience with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is also preferred.
- Understanding of RIP software and color management.
- Willingness to follow department policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.
